It is something that is usually bred into you by your grandmother more than anyone else (or perhaps that was just mine). Cultural faux pas’ are something to think about. Now that we are adults we know all the rules and what we can and cannot do and keep the world spinning in the right direction. Right?

Singapore is undoubtedly one of the most unusual cities in the world. This state-city in Southeast Asia is one of the smallest yet wealthiest and most modern countries in the world, a financial center of the region.   It is an extraordinary mix of cultures as well as modernity with tradition. Ethnic, cultural and linguistic diversity of the country is not only a fact but also a legal status of Singapore, whose inhabitants use four official languages: English, Malay, Mandarin and Tamil. However, despite such diversity, everything here is in harmony with its surroundings.
