Lake Tahoe

The exceptionally clear water of turquoise shade and white rocks both on the bottom and the coast make it look like a paradise island, but this tropical landscape is not even close to the sea or the ocean. The lake is located high up in the mountains – at an altitude of 1899 m in the Sierra Nevada. It is an incredible place in an unexpected area.
