The summer is almost over, but instead of getting depressed about it we want to show you which are in our opinion some of the best beaches in the world, so you can enjoy those last weeks of sun!
1. Matira Beach, Bora Bora
Bora Bora is a small South Pacific island in French Polynesia. The island is surrounded by islets and a turquoise lagoon protected by a coral reef. It’s also a popular luxury resort.
Matira Beach is often described as the most beautiful beach in the world, and it is also the most popular public beach on the island. The atmosphere of the Matira Beach is fantastic, with natural shade from palm trees, safe swimming and easy snorkeling.
2. El Nido, Palawan, Philippines
El Nido is a part of the Palawan Island in the Philippines.
It is known for its white-sand beaches and coral reefs. It’s clear waters with nearby lagoons are just a perfect spot to enjoy swimming, snorkelling, kayaking or just simply sunbathing and admiring the views. A gorgeous spot, definitely a must-see.
- Waipi’o Valley Beach, Big Island, Hawaii
The Waipi’o Valley has been called the Valley of the Gods, and we can definitely understand why. With tropical rainforest, ancient temples and beautiful cliffs it is one of the most breathtaking places in the world. The beach near the valley is as spectacular as the valley itself. With incredible black sands, many nearby waterfalls and dark blue water it is a sure to make you speechless! But be careful during the winter months, as the tide can be very strong in that time of the year.
- Source d’Argent, Seychelles
Located on the La Digue island in the Archipelago of Seychelles, the Source d’Argent is one of the best beaches to swim and enjoy the sun.
The contrast of colours between the granite boulders and the turquoise water is simply astonishing and the view is sure to make you happy. The beach also has many secluded corners where you can hide from the crowds.
But there are some rocks and seaweed in the water, so make sure to bring proper shoes!
- Ngapali Beach, Ngapali, Myanmar
One of the few places in Myanmar where you can just hide away and relax. This idyllic beach surrounded by palm trees is a perfect place to enjoy the sun and just breath. With wide sand and clear water there is not much more you can ask for from a beach. It is sure to steal your heart!
- Playa Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica
Located in the Manuel Antonio National Park, a National Park in the Central Pacific Conservation Area, this beach is perfect to spend some fun time with family or friends. The beach itself is beautiful, with perfect for swimming calm waters, and the road to it through the National Park is simply remarkable.
An obligatory spot for any sun and water lovers, as well as on our little list.
- Whitehaven Beach, Whitsunday Island
Stretched over 7 km of the Whitsunday Island, Australia, this beach is everything you look for and more. It is clean, with beautifully white sand and clear sea. It is perfect for sunbathing as well as swimming. Just make sure to pack some cold drinks, as you can not buy any on the beach. But in our opinion the fact that is it so untouched is what makes is so special.
All left to do now is choose a destination, pack your bags, end take in as much sun as possible!
